Facility effects on preweaning mortality: A report of the NAHMS National Swine Survey

چکیده

A producer survey that included 885 facilities was conducted to assessthe associationsbetween preweaning mortality and various facility attributes. Using univariate analysisand a multiple regression model, we found a signiffcant association between preweaning mortality and flooring type, heat source, water delivery system,cleaning frequency,cleaning method, and duration of idle time between farrowing groups.
